102.9 NOW (KDMX FM) announced today that The Bert Show will join the station as its new morning show, airing weekdays from 5-9:00 a.m. C.T. The Bert Show will launch on 102.9 NOW on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.

The Bert Show is a syndicated program powered by YEA Networks, Kidd Kraddick’s broadcasting company, and features host, Bert Weiss, co-hosts Jeff Dauler, Kristin Klingshirn and a variety of additional on air characters.

The Bert Show will entertain listeners in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with authentic, lifestyle conversations, pop culture gossip, news, A-list celebrity guests and continued hit music. Tara, 102.9 NOW’s previous morning show host, will keep The Bert Show connected to the Metroplex with live traffic, weather and entertainment updates.

The addition of The Bert Show is the latest in a series of changes in the market and reinforces Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Dallas’ commitment to providing North Texas with all-star programming lineups on all of its stations.

“We are thrilled to welcome The Bert Show to the Clear Channel DFW family,” said Deidre Richter, President, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Dallas / Ft Worth. “102.9 NOW has seen major growth in the past year, and addition of The Bert Show will only add to the station’s success. We know this will be a win for both listeners and advertisers alike.”

“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be back on in the Metroplex! I fell in love with Dallas-Ft. Worth when I was on Kidd’s show,” said Weiss. “I can’t wait to get started and connect with the area again.”
